24 Are there any new, cool ways to spend your holiday?

I, for one, believe that there is nothing more romantic than seeing the sun come up or sleeping on the beach. I’ve read that travel companies are falling over themselves to find ways to entice people into choosing their packages. You can indulge in unusual activities, such as going on holidays to learn something (e.g. a language),  or travel  to far flung places to meet a new ’primitive’ culture, but you can also engage in adventure sports like ballooning or paragliding if you are looking for an adrenaline rush. There are also eco-holidays, or at least so I’ve heard, where you go and help others in e.g. cleaning up a river or even building their homes.
