9 Has the Web 2.0 revolution changed the way we are fed the news?



Blogs, social networking sites (e.g. Facebook) have brought about an elevation in the role of the amateurs. News organisations are crying out for citizen journalists, asking the public to help make the news, and offering money for eye-witness accounts and video clips, while TV companies trawl the Internet looking for entertaining clips to televise.
