A world-weary psychologist, the hero
of the book The Dice Man, decided that his life should be governed by chance,
so one day he listed 6 options and rolled a die to decide which one to
follow. The result pushes his boundaries and opens up a new set of
experiences. Bit by bit, he hands his life over to decisions
made by a roll of the die. The result is a hilarious rampage of a novel
as he infects others with his idea and injects a pattern of chaos
into the order of his urbane world.
